Well this movie has exceptionally predictable story, nothing new. This has a college gang, best friends(Genelia & Imran) but don't know that they love each other,a broken marriage, a single parent and siblings relationship. This is a mixture of all Amir Khan hit movies masala.College group from "Jo Jeeta Wahi sikander" but minus fun,Story telling from "Rang De Basanti" and a little comedy from "Andaaz apna apna" but it lacks the Amir khan's movie spark.
After Taare Zameen par, people have a lot more expectations from him but this is a weak movie.
Story starts with the college group and their activities but they only good thing is its void of college show off studs and college group clashes. One good thing is College students look like college students. Performances by Imran and Genelia are ok and anyway did not demand performance of a lifetime from them. But Supporting cast was fabulous. Be it husband-wife duo of Ratna Pathak Shah and Naseeruddin Shah as Imran’s parents. I laughed everytime when they both were onscreen together. All other kids (one of them Smita Patil-Raj Babbar’s son Prateek) are good too. Music is distinctly A. R. Rehman-ish. Kabhi Kabhi Aditi…,Pappu can't dance music is foot tapping and do not miss Khan brothers (Arbaaz and Sohail) dressed as wacko cowboys to add some fun but they just used to drag the story further.
This is only for college goers to watch or if you don't have anything else to do then you can watch this movie.

My rating for this is 2/5

My top 15 K-dramas list

It has been more than a year since I got hooked on Korean dramas. I like the happy ending (mostly) and stories are finished in 16-20 episode...
