My top 15 K-dramas list

It has been more than a year since I got hooked on Korean dramas. I like the happy ending (mostly) and stories are finished in 16-20 episodes. It's difficult to choose out of all the dramas I have watched so far, still picking up a few which I could recall instantly. Here is the list, will share a detailed review of each of them in my next post.

Happy watching!!!

1. Korean Odyssey(also known as Hwayugi):

2. What's wrong with secretary Kim.

3. Descendants of the sun.

4. Coffee Prince

5. Wok of Love

6. Vagabond

7. Fight for my way

8. Itaewon Class

9. Doctor Stranger

10. Kill Me Heal Me

11. Record of Youth

12. It's okay to not be okay

13. The master's sun

14. Her private life

15. Don't dare to dream

Korean odyssey: One of my first foray into K-Drama

This is one of the earliest drama which I got hooked on.

We all love fantasy, intrigue, and romance with a little dose of humor.

It has all that and more.

Recently I read one book and it talked about how our thoughts affect our life.

Surprisingly what I read, this drama depicts that in a visual sense.

It's fun to share the principle with kids showing some clips from this drama.

I would recommend watching this. Another reason to get hooked on K-dramas,

to again believe the ancient stories of Good vs Evil, positive values,

and power of thoughts.

On top of that the most important lesson of life that

"It shall pass no matter how hard it is now if you just hold up a little."

Things are never black and white. Good can be bad or vice versa.

Don't judge, just take them as it is in the moment. There is always a grey patch in between.

A little peek into the very first episode of this drama: Korean Odyssey.

Don't remember when it all started.

I really don't know how and when I started watching Korean serials. No matter when and how but now I am hooked. Initially started watching on the Rakuten website, then moved to the app and now Netflix has so many of them.

When started to watch the first serial, the male actors didn't look good enough, the female characters seemed to be too docile. I lost interest. Later maybe I was too bored and came back to that serial again.

As I keep watching, I liked the stories which completed after 16 or 20 episodes.

Actors who were not appealing initially grows on you as the character develops with the story. It was refreshing from our local serials where the story never ends.

I like them so much that I want to let all of you know about these wonderful modes of entertainment. Watching them is an interesting change, in fact, a very positive one. I want to share the reviews and list of the serials according to mood from my perspective for all of you to pick up the good ones to start. Now after watching so many of them, I picked up the language as well.

See you later! (Daame bayo - Korean)
